Meet the Winter Tulip Flock

From late December through March, Dingy Finch Tulips nurtures a flock of extraordinary tulips into bloom. We grow unusual, elegant, and delightfully bold varieties indoors in Ancramdale,  a small hamlet nestled in New York’s Hudson Valley.

Our winter tulips are cultivated sustainably using nothing but water. No peat. No pesticides. Just a little patience and a lot of affection. In fact, our environmental footprint is about as light as that of a Dingy Finch.

Our bouquets feature flamboyant varieties like parrots, ruffled fringe, lush doubles, and timeless single blooms. Some are long-legged, some are dramatic, and some prefer understated elegance.

The lineup will shuffle from week to week according to the clock, character, and whim of each variety.
